25 Days

We have spent the last 25 days in California -- yes, almost a month!!!!! It was...fabulous. Hot. Sunny. Fun. And now we're back home, in rainy weather. Kaarin said at one point, "This is not our home. Our home is rainy." And rainy it is. Though I think it is going to be a nice weekend.:) I will post later with some highlights & pictures.

School Update Part 2

We received a call yesterday that our waiver request to Steilacoom was accepted!! Woo hoo! It's not guaranteed that we will get p.m. kindergarten, but I am thinking that will be the easy part, since most people seem to want a.m. But we'll see! Yay! Plan A is back in motion!

School Update

I can't remember what I last wrote about this, but we decided to try to waiver in to Steilacoom SD for kindergarten for Kellen, as it seemed to be the best fit we could find. I had to waiver out of Clover Park SD, which was surprisingly easy. I picked up the form from the district office, filled it out, brought it back & she (?? obviously someone who can make that decision) signed it & handed it back to me. Then I sent it off to Steilacoom, who denied it. :( So we are on a waiting list for now, praying that someone moves. :) I really don't know what Plan B is for now, so we're just going to wait for a bit before figuring it out.
