One of Kellen's friends from pre-school had a birthday/slumber party at the zoo...in the shark aquarium. Kellen & Erik went, & Kellen was SO excited!!!!! He couldn't wait to go. I think he had a blast. :) He wanted to sleep right by the glass & also wanted to wake up in the middle of the night so he could see what the sharks were up to. :)

Kellen & Annika both had preschool graduation this year! I was very impressed that they both wore their hats. Annika had told me she wasn't going to wear hers.

3 years old!!


Our sweet, petite, Kaarin turned 3 years old in May!! Unfortunately, she seems to be a bit delayed & has entered the 'terrible twos' just as she is turning 3...so she has had a few more consequences & tears than she is used to. But most of the time she is still the sweet, loving, enthusiastic, life-lovin' girl that we know!:)

Her 3 year old stats: 36.25" tall & 26 lbs. As a reference, when Kellen & Annika turned 3, they were 40" tall...they were both 37" at TWO! So we still call her runt. ;) She wears size 3 diapers, size 18 month or 24 month clothes, size 7 shoes, & is just overall very petite. Which I guess is a good thing, since it means I can still carry her easily & she can still sleep in her crib, lol. :)
Happy Birthday, Kaarin! We can't imagine our lives without you!!
